All Natural, 100% Grass Fed, Young Lamb

Withers at 4 months

Withers at 4 months

Tender, juicy lamb is prized by gormet chefs around the world. Lamb is very expensive in grocery stores and restaurants; even though you might be buying older lamb (mutton), lamb finished on grains apart from their mothers, or lamb from wool sheep.

We raise hair sheep instead of wool sheep so there will never be a strong taste caused by the lanolin in wool. We butcher at a tender five to six months of age and our lamb stay with their mothers grazing and getting rich milk during this whole period. Our lamb are never fed grain, treated with antibiotics, stimulents, or growth hormones! 100% grass fed lamb is lower in calories and fat than feed lot meat and the fat that is available is healthy.* Our meat has two to four times more omega-3 fatty acids* and three to five times more CLA than feed lot meet.** (CLA is recognized as a very potent defence against cancer.***)

Even though lamb can be advertized as "grass fed", this does not mean that it is 100% grass fed. Grain could have been fed in the last few days. Each day that an animal spends in a feed lot its supply of omega-3's is diminished.
