The ram is one half of your flock! We look for thick, muscular, long, deep-bodied rams that will add meat to our offspring. We purchased our main ram "Rufus" in 2011. He is a registered full-blood Dorper and has produced for us many quality lambs. In 2012 we added five full-blood Dorper rams to help cover our growing flock. Our rams must produce offspring that are well muscled and able to gain 100 pounds in five to six months. We are currently looking for these ram traits in other breeds and are excited about combining breeds with the same traits to produce hearty composite rams.
